The 2014 Malabo Declaration on Accelerated growth and transformation for shared prosperity, signed by African Heads of States, with the goal to end hunger, halve poverty, boost intra-African agricultural trade, enhance investment financing and resilience to climate variability through inclusive agricultural growth and transformation is set to end in December 2024.
The African Union Commission, is therefore seeking input from all stakeholders to inform the next chapter for African Agriculture. The Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana, is therefore convening a stakeholder workshop to share, reflect and solicit feedback from Non-State Actors to inform the Post-Malabo agenda.
The workshop is therefore to provide a platform for NSAs in Ghana to catalyze inclusive dialogue and collaboration to shape the Post-Malabo agenda that reflects the realities and aspirations of the African people.
