On 13th December the Board and members of the Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana paid a visit to the former President, John Dramani Mahama to discuss the state of agriculture in the country. During the visit, we presented some key recommendations for consideration by the former president if given the nod I the 2024 elections.
The former President was excited to receive the delegation, he noted that improving agricultural productivity through extension support and incentives for farmers was key to promoting agricultural development and improving farmers’ livelihood. He signified his willingness to collaborate with PFAG and assured the delegation that the recommendations provided will be factored into his team’s strategy planning session which had just commenced.
