We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Officer to join our Farmer Cooperative Credit
Union team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all field activities and other
assignment designated by the Regional Manager.

About the Upper East Farmers’ Cooperative Credit Union
The Upper East Farmers’ Cooperative Credit Union is a first ever Farmers’ Cooperative Credit
Union in Ghana dedicated to serving the financial needs of farmers, agribusinesses, agricultural
workers, and other related businesses in both urban and rural communities. With a strong
commitment to cooperative principles and member-focused banking services for the poor, we
hope to provide accessible and affordable financial solutions to our members.
Responsibilities of the Field Officer
- Conduct on-site visits to rural areas to assess the needs of farmers and potential members.
- Educate farmers and other potential members about our financial products and services,
including loans, savings accounts, and insurance options.
- Assist members in completing applications and provide guidance throughout the
application process.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the local agricultural community.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND in marketing, finance, human resource management and other related
fields
- Passion for serving rural communities and supporting agricultural development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of agricultural practices and challenges preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- Willingness to work in any hard-to-reach communities
- Ability to ride a motor bike
- Driving skills is an added advantage
Languages:
Fluency in Farafara, Kasem, Kusaal and Hausa is an added advantage.
